Day 01     Arrive Mumbai (Bombay)

• Arrive Mumbai by international flight.

• Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

• Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Mumbai.

  • City tour of Mumbai, visiting Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum (Museum is closed on Mondays) Fish Aquarium, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hills offering nice view of Marine Lines & Chowpatty Beach, Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhawan (Where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay) then to Dhobi Ghat. Also drive past Afghan Church, Flora Fountain, colourful Crawford Market and Marine Drive.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02     Mumbai - Kochi (Cochin) (58 kms / 36 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Kochi.

• Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. 

• Sunset cruise on the backwaters. 

• Evening Kathakali dance show. 

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03     Kochi - Periyar (185 kms / 116 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning city sightseeing tour of Kochi.

  • City tour of Kochi, visiting the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church.

• Later leave Kochi by car for Periyar.

• On arrival at Periyar, check-in at hotel.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04     Periyar

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning & Evening boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view the Wildlife.

  • Boat ride on Lake Periyar to watch animals in their natural habitat. The earliest sanctuary, it was set up in 1934 and forms part of the mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Cruising on Lake Periyar, you are likely to see animals like wild boars, sambars, wild dogs, langur monkeys and wild elephants.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05     Periyar - Kumarakom (55 kms / 35 miles )

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning leave Periyar by car for Kumarakom.

• Arrive Kumarakom and transfer to hotel by boat.

• Rest of the day at leisure or you may explore the area on your own.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06     Kumarakom

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Full day free for independent activities.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07     Kumarakom - Mararikulam

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Later transfer by boat to boat jetty followed by surface transfer to Mararikulam.

• On arrival at Mararikulam, check-in at the hotel.

• Afternoon visit to the beach and relax.

• Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 08     Mararikulam

• Full day free on the beach.

• Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 09     Mararikulam

• Full day free on the beach.

• Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 10     Mararikulam - Kochi - Mumbai - Leave Mumbai

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning leave Mararikulam by car for Kochi airport to connect flight for Mumbai.

• Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel for dinner.

• Later transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
