Day 01     Arrive Delhi

  • Arrive Delhi by international flight. 

  • Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. 

  • Rest of the day at leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02     Delhi

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Full day city sightseeing tour of New Delhi.

    • City tour of Old and New Delhi, visiting Qutab Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Humayun's Tomb,  Lakshmi Narayan Temple-modern Hindu Temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03     Delhi - Udaipur

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Udaipur.

  • Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Udaipur.

    • City tour of Udaipur, visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum), Fatehsagar Lake, Pratap Smarak, Sajjan Niwas Garden and Sahelion-Ki-Bari (Queen's resort for her friends).

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04     Udaipur 

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning excursion to Eklingji and Nagda temples.

    • Eklingji and Nagda, visiting the celebrated temple of Eklingji which was built for the tutelary deity of the Maharanas of Mewar, of sand stone and marble in 734 A.D. Its 108 temples are enclosed by high walls and has a pyramidical roof composed of hundreds of knobs. Later, visit Nagda, one of the ancient palaces of Mewar dating back to the 6th century A.D. The Sas Bahu Temples are among the most exquisitely carved temples.

  • Evening boat cruise on Lake Pichola.

    • The lake is 4 km long and 3 km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. Visit the island palace Jag Niwas which is beautifully set in the Lake.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05     Udaipur - Jaipur

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Jaipur.

    • City tour of Jaipur, visiting Maharaja's City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the Royal Observatory, Ram Niwas Gardens, Albert Hall and the Museum. Later, drive through this "Pink City's" business and residential areas. 

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06     Jaipur

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning excursion to Amber Fort including elephant ride.

    • Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on Elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. 

  • Rest of the day at leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07     Jaipur - Agra (232 kms / 145 miles)

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning leave Jaipur by car for Agra en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri.

    • Fatehpur Sikri, 38 km from Agra, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. 

  • On arrival at Agra, check-in at the hotel.

  • Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Agra.

    • City tour of Agra, the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit the Agra Fort (Halls of Private and Public audience), Itmad-ud-Daula and other palaces.

Day 08     Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho (170 kms / 106 miles)

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • In time transfer to the railway station to board the train for Jhansi.

  • Assistance on arrival and transfer to Khajuraho by air-conditioned car en route visiting Orchha.

    • Orchha (19 km from Jhansi) A medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and temples of the 16th and 17th century - which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time. The city is picturesquely flanked by the river Betwa.

  • On arrival at Khajuraho, check-in at the hotel.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09     Khajuraho - Varanasi

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning city sightseeing tour of Khajuraho.

    • City tour of Khajuraho, visiting the world famous Khajuraho temples built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple dedicated to Shiva,which is the largest and most typical of temples.

  • In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Varanasi.

Day 10     Varanasi

  • Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges.

    • Boat cruise on the holy river Ganges to see the Bathing ghats and Cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the Ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India.

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning city sightseeing tour of Varanasi.

    • City tour of Varanasi, visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

  • Afternoon excursion to Sarnath.

    • Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century B.C. to 12th century A.D. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum. (CLOSED ON FRIDAYS)

Day 11     Varanasi - Kathmandu

Day 12     Kathmandu

  • Morning tour of Kathmandu valley.

    • City tour of Kathmandu, visiting the Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient residential quarters and temples. Then visit Swayambhunath, a 2500 years old site where, it is believed, the radiant Lotus, according to valley mythology, settled when the water was drained by Manjushri, the Goddess. The 5 Dhyani Buddhas attended by their consorts are enshrined at the base of the stupa.

  • Afternoon excursion to Patan.

    • Patan, visiting the Old Newar city, the historic Durbar Square, the Golden gate, the sky piercing temples of Teleju, and balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaars.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13     Kathmandu

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning at leisure.

  • Afternoon excursion to Bhadgaon, Bodhnath and Pashupatinath.

    • Bhadgaon, Bodhnath & Pashupatinath - Another Newar city founded in the 9th century. Visit the ancient gateway, Durbar Square the Royal Residential quarter of Bhupindra Malla, famous five storeyed temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style and other temples. Later visit Bodhnath, the 2500 years old Buddhist stupa; a holy place for Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet. Also visit Pashupatinath temple area.

Day 14     Kathmandu - Delhi

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.
