Day 01     Arrive Delhi

  • Arrive Delhi by international flight.

  • Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. 

  • Rest of the day at leisure.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02     Delhi

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning city sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.

    • Full day city tour, visiting Qutab Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Humayun's Tomb,  Lakshmi Narayan Temple-modern Hindu Temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. 

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03     Delhi - Agra (196 kms / 1 hour 55 min.)

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • In time transfer to railway station to board the train for Agra.

  • Morning excursion to Fatehpur Sikri.

    • Fatehpur Sikri (40 kms from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.

  • Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Agra.

    • City tour of Agra, visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit the Agra Fort (Halls of Private and Public audience), Itmad-ud-Daula and other palaces. 

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04     Agra - Gwalior (121 kms / 1 hour 15 min.)

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • In time transfer to railway station to board the train for Gwalior.

Day 05     Gwalior - Jhansi (98 kms / 1 hour 15 min.)

    • Orchha's grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time and a rich legacy to the ages. For, on this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and the temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century retain much of their prestine perfection. Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatries has a spectacular view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs.

Day 06     Jhansi - Bhopal (290 kms / 3 hours 40 min.)

    • City tour of Bhopal, visiting the Upper Lake, Lower Lake, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Birla Museum, Kilol Park, Kamla Park, Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil and Taj-ul-Masjid. Drive past Vidhan Sabha, Tagore Memorial and the National Archives of India.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07     Bhopal

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Full day excursion to Sanchi.

    • Sanchi (58 km) which has distinction of having the finest specimens of almost all Buddhist architectural forms, Stupa, Chaitya, Temples and Monasteries dating from 3rd century BC. Visit three important Stupas with circular domes and railing around them. Also visit Ashoka Pillar, Gupta temple built in the 4th century and Great Bowl carved of one piece of stone. The museum displays number of sculptures found in the area.

Day 08     Bhopal - Indore (184 kms / 115 miles)

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning leave Bhopal by car for Indore.

  • On arrival at Indore, check-in at the hotel.

  • Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Indore.

    • City tour of Indore, visiting the Kanch Mandir, Jain Shrine worked in glass beads, Lal Bagh Palace and the New Palace. 

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09     Indore

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Full day excursion to Ujjain.

    • Ujjain (60 km) the city which traces its origin to the very dawn of Indian history and has a great tradition of learning and culture. It was used as the base for calculations of Hindu astronomy, astrology and geography. Visit the Temple of Mahakaleshwar, Observatory of masonry, Jantar Mantar, Bathing Ghats of Shipra river and the Gopal Mandir, a 19th century temple of Maratha-Style architecture.

Day 10     Indore - Mandu (105 kms / 66 miles)

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning leave Indore by car for Mandu en route visiting Omkareshwar and Maheswar famous for the temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu.

  • Rest of the day at leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11     Mandu

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning city sightseeing tour of Mandu.

    • City Tour of Mandu, once known as the city of Joy famous for the love stories of King Baz Bahadur for his consort Rani Roopmati. This deserted Hill Top Fort for Mandu, once very extensively one of the most interesting sights in central India. The Palaces, Mosques and Tombs are of great beauty.

  • Rest of the day at leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12     Mandu - Indore - Mumbai

  • Buffet breakfast at hotel.

  • Morning at leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

  • Afternoon leave Mandu by car for Indore.

  • On arrival at Indore, straight proceed to airport to connect flight for Mumbai.

Day 13     Mumbai

    • Elephanta Caves - Across the harbour to the world famous, 1200 years old Elephanta Caves, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The famous TRIMURTI sculpture signifying the trinity of the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer is located here. (Subject to weather conditions)

  • Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Mumbai.

    • City tour of Mumbai, visiting Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum (Museum is closed on Mondays) Fish Aquarium, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hills offering nice view of Marine Lines & Chowpatty Beach, Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhawan (Where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay) then to Dhobi Ghat. Also drive past Afghan Church, Flora Fountain, colourful Crawford Market and Marine Drive.

Day 14     Leave Mumbai

  • Assistance on arrival and transfer to international airport for onward destination.
