DAY 01     ARRIVE DELHI

Arrive Delhi by international flight. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02     IN DELHI

India’s capital and major gateway to the country. Modern Delhi, divided as Old and New Delhi, is a conglomerate of seven cities that has spread out and intruded beyond the river Yamuna. Old Delhi expanded around Shahjahanabad, the seventh city of Delhi. Built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan, it is a maze of crowded streets and intensely colourful bazaars. Lytyen's Delhi, the seat of the British Raj, includes the President's Palace, the Secretariat, India Gate and the Parliament House.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning city sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Humayun's Tomb, Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03     DELHI - AGRA BY ROAD  [205 kms / 128 miles]

After breakfast drive to Agra (approx. 4 hrs drive). Upon arrival at Agra, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Agra  visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit the Agra Fort (Halls of Private and Public audience) and other palaces. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 04     AGRA - JAIPUR BY ROAD  [232 kms / 145 miles]

After breakfast drive to Jaipur (approx. 5 hrs drive) en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (38 km from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 05     IN JAIPUR

Jaipur, one of the most well panned cities of the world. This capital city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1728 AD.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to Amer Fort with elephant ride. Amer Fort the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on Elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting Maharaja's City Palace (home of erstwhile royal family), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (the largest observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II), Albert Hall and the Museum. Later drive through this Pink City's business and residential areas. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 06     JAIPUR - DELHI BY ROAD  [258 kms / 161 miles]

After breakfast drive to Jaipur (approx 5 hrs drive). Upon arrival at Delhi, check-in at the hotel. Late evening transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.

DAY 07     LEAVE DELHI

Leave Delhi by international flight.
