Delhi(1) - Lucknow(1) - Balrampur(1) - Lumbini - Kushinagar(1) - Patna(1) - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya(2) - Varanasi(1) - Delhi(1)

Day 01     Arrive Delhi

• Arrive Delhi by international flight.

• Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. 

• Rest of the day at leisure.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02     Delhi

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Full day city sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.

  • City tour of New & Old Delhi, visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial), Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.

•  Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03     Delhi - Lucknow  

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning transfer to railway station to board the train for Lucknow.

• Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. 

• Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Lucknow.

  • City tour of Lucknow, the city of Gardens was the 18th century capital of Nawab Wazirs and the centre of culture and tradition. Visit for 3-4 hours the great Imambara, built in the 18th century. The absence of beams and pillars in the huge main hall is an architectural achievement, Lucknow Residency where the British Resident lived, Picture Gallery exhibiting excellent full-sized portraits of the Nawabs of Oudh.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04     Lucknow - Balrampur (153 kms / 96 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning leave Lucknow by car for Balrampur.

• On arrival at Balrampur, check-in at the hotel.

• Afternoon visit Sravasti (Sahet Mahet).

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05     Balrampur - Lumbini (183 kms / 115 miles) - 
                 Lumbini - Kushinagar (161 kms / 101 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning leave Balrampur by car with box lunch to Lumbini en route visiting Kapilavastu. Also visit Lumbini Buddha's birth place.

• After lunch proceed to Kushinagar.

• On arrival at Kushinagar, check-in at the hotel.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06     Kushinagar - Patna (230 kms / 144 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Early morning temple visit.

• Later drive to Patna with packed lunch en route visiting Vaisali.

• On arrival at Patna, check-in at the hotel.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07     Patna - Bodhgaya (120 kms / 75 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning drive to Bodhgaya en route visiting Nalanda University & Rajgir.

• On arrival at Bodhgaya, check-in at the hotel.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08     Bodhgaya

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Full day temple visit.

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09     Bodhgaya - Varanasi (240 kms / 150 miles)

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning leave Bodhgaya by car for Varanasi en route visiting Sarnath.

  • Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century B.C. to 12th century A.D. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum. (CLOSED ON FRIDAYS)

• On arrival at Varanasi, check-in at the hotel. 

• Rest of the day at leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

• Overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 10     Varanasi - Delhi

• Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges.

  • Boat cruise to see the Bathing ghats and Cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the Ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India.

• Buffet breakfast at hotel.

• Morning city sightseeing tour of Varanasi.

  • City tour of Varanasi, visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb.

• In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi.

• Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. 

• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11     Leave Delhi

• Transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
